#88 On Resetting the Goal

In July, I had a big internal goal: 15 podcast episodes in a month. That was the plan. I ended at 12.
But along the way, I also produced and released 4 original songs... I composed, produced, and designed the artwork for each one. And that’s the part that surprised me.
Not bad for a one-man creative wolf pack.
This episode of Creating Happy Human podcast is about exactly that... setting goals, adjusting them when life happens, and realizing that sometimes the version you needed was the adjusted one. The reset one. The real one.
I talk about the creative grind, my experiences recording and publishing consistently, how courage builds through posting your work, and how important it is not to wait on a “team” to start. The solo route, the one man or woman wolf pack is not only doable... it might be the clearest way forward. At least at the beginning.
There's a lesson in creating your own timelines, working with data not feelings, and letting yourself surprise yourself. Plans shift. Challenges come up. But if you can adapt without burning out, you’re still building something real.
I also share what inspired me in the Avicii documentary Hi, I’m Tim, how data helps me set better expectations, and why producing music at 127 BPM is the new creative rhythm I’m running with.
Big takeaway: the reset isn’t failure—it’s just part of the flow. Goals evolve when you do.
