I met Deacon Juan at my ACTS retreat in 2017 and build a friendship with him over the past couple of months. He reached out to me about designing a prayer card for his ordination day. I was grateful for the opportunity and felt this was God’s call for me to help out via creativity.
I met with (now) Fr. Juan a couple of months ago to talk about the design. The final design is an image of the Priest’s hands breaking bread and the bottom half of the card is the divided via the clergy collar. The back of the card has a the prayer and this was done in English and spanish.
He was ordained as a Catholic Priest on April 21, 2018 at St. Augustine Cathedral in Laredo, TX.
