I interviewed Laredo artist and educator, Erika Lamar Buentello, this past month for the August edition of DeLaredo Magazine. Her journey is inspiring and it’s great to see an artist help out other artists through her creation of the Hecho-A-Mano Handmade Market in Laredo, TX. She first started drawing at the age of 4 when she would doodle our beloved alien, ET, on her mother’s high school yearbooks.
