You got into your car this morning and headed to work. You played some music, fixed your hair, sipped on your coffee and even cut someone off as you hit that high note.
A butterfly flew off into the day and met its destiny as it slammed into your automobile’s grill.
Poor butterfly.
You pulled up into the parking spot. Guess what!? You even made it on time and claimed the shaded parking spot for the day.
You pumped yourself up for the day, you felt good, life is good after all. Imagine if you had to walk there!? Poor you. The butterfly would still be alive though, now it’s just stuck on your grill – dead.
You were being watched and you didn’t know it. The grackle had his eye on you. You work for him and you don’t know it.
You got off your car after that grueling karaoke session in 60 degree comfort to make your way into work as he watched on.
He jumped off his branch and glided onto the floor to inspect the murder scene on your grill. He took a closer look, tilted his head with curiosity as he looked at the damage, then – pecked at the victim, snatched it up and ate it.
Today like any other day, he had breakfast, lunch and dinner. He kept a close eye on all the murderers as they parked their cars with the poor little lifeless, flightless victims stuck on their grills.
The modern grackle loves automobiles. Life is easy.
