It’s 9am on a gloomy Monday morning.
I unconsciously reach into my pocket and grab my phone to open up the latest social media app. I am scrolling through and I see that one of my “friends” had just posted an empowering quote about how you are a badass and how you will conquer the world.
This post tells me more about my friend’s life situation than motivate me.
There is no audience waiting for that post, the audience is them. That’s it. Nothing more.
