pedestrian sign inspiration

We took a trip to Austin last month and I was inspired by a pedestrian sign at the traffic light that signals when to walk so one doesn’t get run over.

I was sitting outside Guero’s on South Congress when I saw how this universal figure of a person walking controlled the crowd and guided them through safety into the next block. According to google stick figure drawings to communicate between humans were being used back up until 30,000 years.

I got back to Laredo and sketched up a couple of designs for future happy guy clothing shirts with these stick figures. A man with a happy face and a girl silhouette wearing a dress for a happy gal shirt.

Inspiration is everywhere.
