$1.50 subscription to distraction

Business Insider had one good article that caught my eye the other day.

This article’s headline stated that there were more jobs available than job seekers in August 2021.

This is good business insight considering there are many companies looking to hire and many people looking to be hired.

This article can point both of them in the direction to accomplish their goal. It also gives job-seekers hope. It gives employers hope because others are dealing with this lack of labor as well.

I decided to check out the other areas of the site and I came across a culture section.

My initial thought was that the “culture” section would share insight into how the culture is impacting business.

I was now on the culture part of the site and came across headlines talking about a You-tuber dealing with legal issues over a video he shot about a looting in 2020 and then another headline of a 90’s bedazzled movie actor who had a conversation with a TikTok-er and got emotional about the support he may be receiving online.

What does this have to do with business? No insight. Just noise.

So much noise.

$1.50/weekly for a subscription to distraction?

I’ll pass.
