The year is 2005 and the first ever like button is launched on Vimeo.

Four years later the like button is introduced into Facebook.

Posting felt good and now people could tell you if they like it or not.

At first, we’re all clicking away and then we don’t notice that self-worth is being externalized.

Now the worth of your creation is based off how many likes, views, shares it has and well — your worth as an artist and if you’re not careful… as a person… is now worth what your creation is worth.
