I read somewhere that when creating something you can use sandpaper or a pencil.
A pencil is for sketching out an initial idea and then creating it and a sandpaper is for taking something that is created already and sanding it down to get the desired “new creation”.
What if we use both? We draw out the idea and we sand the creation to create something new.
A pencil may have sketched the first mobile phone and it was created — then Steve Jobs came over with sandpaper and sanded all the keys off of it and left it with only a touchscreen. The rest is history — or is there more sanding to do? Thinks that make you go hmmm…
