Stack Behaviors

If I have a thought I open my notes app or voice memo app on the iPhone.

I record the thought.

I set a reminder to retrieve the thought later that night.

When that night comes around and I open the note or listen to the audio I take note of what part I want to keep to move forward and start bringing the thought to life.

That’s on a good day.

It all starts with the first behavior and the right tool. If there is friction between behavior and tool then chances are I may get distracted.
