I saw this video of a guy starting a dance movement at a festival. At first, he was the only one dancing and it was pretty weird then one person joined him — then two, then three and then there was a whole crowd of people dancing. I remember a Ted Talk presenter sharing this video during his speech on starting a movement.
I want to talk about what that one guy did and how it correlates to when we walk away from what everyone is doing to start something new or to do nothing — just the simple fact of not continuing to do what everyone is doing.
For example — social media is something one person did in your group of friends or family, then you did it, then maybe you told someone about it and eventually everyone was telling each other to “follow me”. Heck even plumbing service companies are telling others to “follow us” with decals on their trucks.
Blogging was a movement too — shit, it’s still is.
I feel this is taking me on the “road less traveled” and I like this dance.
Go start dancing.
